Commemorate Hunger Action Day with the Center for Student Success and Intervention and the Food Pantry at Columbia! Hunger Action Month spreads awareness about hunger throughout the nation and inspires everyone to take action and make a difference. In New York City, hunger is pervasive: 1 in 6 children do not know where their next meal is coming from and 50% of New York City households are struggling to afford increasing food and rent costs. Join CSSI and the Food Pantry at Columbia in spreading awareness about hunger and resources to combat food insecurity in our local community! Stop by Watson Hall, 8th Floor on September 17th between 1-3pm for resources and the opportunity to win goodies!
