The Student Support team organizes workshops throughout the academic year to provide students with valuable information and resources on relevant topics. These workshops aim to support students by addressing their academic, personal, and professional needs, helping them navigate their time at the University more effectively.

Housing in New York City: On and Off Campus Resources

Join the CSSI's Student Support team for a workshop on navigating housing in New York City. The team will be reviewing housing related resources both on and off campus with the goal of ensuring that all students know exactly where to go for all of their housing related needs and questions. Topics will include an overview of the various housing offices on campus, tenant rights, NYC Housing Connect, NYC housing benefits, short-term housing options, emergency housing resources and much more!

Stress Tolerance and Academic Integrity

Join CSSI for a workshop on stress tolerance and academic integrity. The Student Support team in collaboration with Student Conduct will review methods for managing academic stress and preventing academic misconduct. The team will share on-campus and community resources for stress management and mental wellbeing.

Public Benefits Workshop

Join the Center for Student Success and Intervention’s Student Support Team for an informative workshop regarding city and federal benefits. During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn more about SNAP, WIC and other benefits that are available through New York City Access HRA. You will also learn how to connect with the Student Support Team for support with basic needs and connections to internal and external resources.
